A TOUCH OF HISTORY,

Hyssop originates from Southern Europe (scrubland), North Africa and West Asia. This aromatic spice is considered a medicinal plant. Hippocrates and Dioscorides mentioned hyssop. This plant is said to cure bronchitis and pleurisy (membranes that surround the lungs). Many sacred texts (the Bible, the Torah, the Gospel of the Apostle) name the hyssop. This spice is nowadays forgotten in gastronomy.

LET'S DIG IN !

From the Lamiaceae family (aromatic plants), we eat the leaves and flowers. Dried hyssop concentrates its essential oils with the scent of lavender, mint and camphor, which gives it a tangy but more discreet touch than oregano. This spice can be infused in cooking, used in foil and at the end of cooking like thyme.

It's ideal for your sauces, stuffings, poultry, meat, fish, cheese and for cold starters (salads ...).
