Sacré Français created this spice mix with five spices not four ! This mix can be very reasily adapted to salty cuisine such as sausage, pastry or even delicious gingerbread.

A TOUCH OF HISTORY,

The four-spice is at the root of a unique spice: the Pimenta dioica or myrtle pepper (which we call the wood of India or the allspice). When these faux-pepper seeds are milled, you can smell the scent of ginger, clove, nutmeg and pepper. This spice has been a part of our culinary culture since the 18th century. Indeed, it can be found in Brittany, the Basque region and Alsace ... We've remade this spice mix to make it fit more easily in your cuisine.

LET'S DIG IN !

The four-spice mix goes very well with salty cooking (in the Basquo-Landais pâté for example but also during the salting of cold cuts, combined with Espelette pepper or sweet pepper). This mix will be perfect for making gingerbread! (Recipe that we owe to the Pharaohs ...). In addition, it will make your apple pies, fig jams, creams, biscuits and compotes taste really good.

This spice mix contains star anise, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.
