Gomasio is a spice resulting from the blending of Guérande sea salt and roasted sesame seeds. Gomasio or rather Gomashio is a Japanese term that means "sesame salt". This condiment with Chinese origins, inspired by Yin and Yang, was acquired by the Japanese as the basis of macrobiotic diet: a healthy diet in accordance with nature.

LET'S DIG IN!

This salty spice, known in Europe as the Japanese fleur de sel, is used after cooking. It can be used on raw vegetables, salads, meats or grilled fish, cereals or cooked vegetables. With a low salt content (5%), the gomasio is the ideal substitute of the latter to limit its salt consumption.
